Account Manager

Who you are:

  • You are a recent college graduate with a degree in business, marketing, communications or related fields.
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken). You have no problem picking up the phone and talking to anyone.
  • You make a great first impression and people of all types (e.g., sales, technical, executive, etc.) enjoy working with you.
  • You are someone who is self-driven and with a strong desire to excel in everything you try.
  • You hate to be micro-managed because you are an enthusiastic self-starter who loves tackling challenges head-on.
  • You are VERY detail oriented and great at researching and learning on your own. You thrive on juggling multiple priorities, managing simultaneous projects, and seeing a job through to completion.
  • You have strong computer and organization skills and are proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

What you will do:

You will be one of CData Software's Account Managers responsible for growing and maintaining one of our most important software product lines. You will work hard to build relationships with new customers and grow existing relationships. You will learn many aspects of our business and gain an understanding of our technology and the vale that it provides.

Entry-Level Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking an entry-level technical support engineer to help assist with techincal issues through email and on the phone. This position requires exceptional problem solving skills as you will be tackling new and unique challenges every day with no set script to resolve an issue. The ability to research both alone and in a team to reproduce and debug customer issues is essential. As the voice of the company, applicants should have excellent communication skills as well be able to quickly learn new topics. Programming knowledge is required as well as a bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to read and write code to solve basic problems in at least 1 language
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience with C# or Java preferred but any other previous programming experience is a plus

Entry-Level Software Developer

We are seeking an entry-level software developer to assist with customer support and quality assurance testing. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET or Java, and the desire to do great work. Experience with SQL, databases, and web services are a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of programming experience (including coursework)
  • Experience with C# or Java
  • Experience with Visual Studio and/or a Java IDE
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated, quick learner
  • Programming logic, clear code writing style, and commenting are a must

OEM Sales Engineer

We are seeking a technical support engineer to help assist with addressing technical concerns for our large OEM customers. This position requires exceptional technical skills and an ability to think on your feet. Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory as you will be required to assist highly technical customers in live web meetings and through email. This position requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.) and 5+ years of industry experience in a technical field or a master's degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE

  • Provide sales support during customer evaluation and continue to assist any technical concerns during the OEM partnership
  • 5+ years in a related technical field or a master's in a STEM field
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to learn quickly and to understand our products, customers, and the data provider market at a deep technical level
  • Adept programming and debugging skills; C# and Java
