PowerShell でBullhorn CRM Data データをCSV に落としてみた

標準PowerShell cmdlets を使ってBullhorn CRM テーブルにアクセス。

CData Cmdlets Module for Bullhorn CRM は、直感的なBullhorn CRM データ連携を提供する標準cmdlet です。 本記事では、BullhornCRM Cmdlets を使ったサンプルを提供します。

Creating a Connection to Your Bullhorn CRM Data

Begin by providing your Bullhorn CRM account credentials in the following:

If you are uncertain about your data center code, codes like CLS2, CLS21, etc. are cluster IDs that are contained in a user's browser URL (address bar) once they are logged in.

Example: https://cls21.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornSTAFFING/MainFrame.jsp?#no-ba... indicates that the logged in user is on CLS21.

Authenticating with OAuth

Bullhorn CRM uses the OAuth 2.0 authentication standard. To authenticate using OAuth, create and configure a custom OAuth app. See the Help documentation for more information.

$conn = Connect-BullhornCRM  -DataCenterCode "$DataCenterCode" -OAuthClientId "$OAuthClientId" -OAuthClientSecret "$OAuthClientSecret"

Selecting Data

Follow the steps below to retrieve data from the Candidate table and pipe the result into to a CSV file:

Select-BullhornCRM -Connection $conn -Table Candidate | Select -Property * -ExcludeProperty Connection,Table,Columns | Export-Csv -Path c:\myCandidateData.csv -NoTypeInformation

You will notice that we piped the results from Select-BullhornCRM into a Select-Object cmdlet and excluded some properties before piping them into an Export-Csv cmdlet. We do this because the CData Cmdlets append Connection, Table, and Columns information onto each "row" in the result set, and we do not necessarily want that information in our CSV file.

The Connection, Table, and Columns are appended to the results in order to facilitate piping results from one of the CData Cmdlets directly into another one.

Deleting Data

The following line deletes any records that match the criteria:

Select-BullhornCRM -Connection $conn -Table Candidate -Where "CandidateName = Jane Doe" | Remove-BullhornCRM

Inserting and Updating Data

The cmdlets make data transformation easy as well as data cleansing. The following example loads data from a CSV file into Bullhorn CRM, checking first whether a record already exists and needs to be updated instead of inserted.

Import-Csv -Path C:\MyCandidateUpdates.csv | %{
  $record = Select-BullhornCRM -Connection $BullhornCRM -Table Candidate -Where ("Id = `'"+$_.Id+"`'")
  if($record){
    Update-BullhornCRM -Connection $bullhorncrm -Table Candidate -Columns ("Id","CandidateName") -Values ($_.Id, $_.CandidateName) -Where ("Id = `'"+$_.Id+"`'")
  }else{
    Add-BullhornCRM -Connection $bullhorncrm -Table Candidate -Columns ("Id","CandidateName") -Values ($_.Id, $_.CandidateName)
  }
}

As always, our goal is to simplify the way you connect to data. With cmdlets users can install a data module, set the connection properties, and start building. Download Cmdlets and start working with your data in PowerShell today!
