MySQL のFederated Table としてSybase データを連携利用する

SQL Gateway を使って、MySQL リモーティングサービスを作成し、Sybase のMySQL Federated Table を構築できます。CData ODBC Driver for Sybase のMySQL インターフェースのdeamon になります。サービス起動後、MySQL のFEDERATED ストレージエンジンを使ってサーバーおよびテーブルを作成します。Sybase データ をMySQL テーブルのように使いましょう。

Sybase データへの接続

If you have not already done so, provide values for the required connection properties in the data source name (DSN). You can use the built-in Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to configure the DSN. This is also the last step of the driver installation. See the "Getting Started" chapter in the help documentation for a guide to using the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure a DSN.

Sybase は、Basic 認証、Kerberos 認証、LDAP 認証などの認証方法をいくつかサポートしています。

Basic 認証を使用した接続

次を設定してデータを認証し接続します。User およびPassword を設定してSybaseIQ 認証を使用します。

• User：認証Sybase ユーザーのユーザー名に設定。
• Password：認証Sybase ユーザーのパスワードに設定。
• Server：SybaseIQ またはSAP SQL Anywhere データベースインスタンスの名前またはネットワークアドレスに設定。
• Database：指定されたサーバーで実行されているSybaseIQ またはSAP SQL Anywhere データベースの名前に設定。

オプションで、UseSSL をtrue に設定することにより、TLS/SSL で接続を保護できます。

Note： 上記のCData 製品 設定でSAP SQL Anywhere のインスタンスに接続することもできます。

Kerberos 認証を使用した接続

Kerberos 認証を活用するには、次の接続プロパティを使用してそれを有効にすることから始めます。

• AuthScheme：Kerberos に設定すると、Sybase への認証に使用されます。

Kerberos 認証用に設定する必要がある接続プロパティに関しては、Kerberos の使用 情報を参照してください。

以下は接続文字列の例です。 Server=MyServer;Port=MyPort;User=SampleUser;Password=SamplePassword;Database=MyDB;Kerberos=true;KerberosKDC=MyKDC;KerberosRealm=MYREALM.COM;KerberosSPN=server-name

LDAP 認証を使用した接続

LDAP 認証で接続するには、LDAP 認証メカニズムを使用するようにSybase サーバーサイドを設定する必要があります。

LDAP 用にSybase を設定したら、Basic 認証と同じクレデンシャルを使用して接続できます。

SQL Gateway の設定

See the SQL Gateway Overview to set up connectivity to Sybase データ as a virtual MySQL database. You will configure a MySQL remoting service that listens for MySQL requests from clients. The service can be configured in the SQL Gateway UI.

Sybase データ のFEDERATED サーバーおよびテーブルを作成

After you have configured and started the service, create a FEDERATED server to simplify the process of creating FEDERATED tables:

The following statement will create a FEDERATED server based on the ODBC Driver for Sybase. Note that the username and password of the FEDERATED server must match a user account you defined on the Users tab of the SQL Gateway.

OPTIONS (USER 'sql_gateway_user', PASSWORD 'sql_gateway_passwd', HOST 'sql_gateway_host', PORT ####, DATABASE 'CData Sybase Sys');

FEDERATED テーブルの作成

To create a FEDERATED table using our newly created server, use the CONNECTION keyword and pass the name of the FEDERATED server and the remote table (Products). Refer to the following template for the statement to create a FEDERATED table:

CREATE TABLE fed_products (
  ...,
  id  TYPE(LEN),
  productname  TYPE(LEN),
  ...,
)
ENGINE=FEDERATED
DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1
CONNECTION='fedSybase/products';

NOTE: The table schema for the FEDERATED table must match the remote table schema exactly. You can always connect directly to the MySQL remoting service using any MySQL client and run a SHOW CREATE TABLE query to get the table schema.

クエリの実行

You can now execute queries to the Sybase FEDERATED tables from any tool that can connect to MySQL, which is particularly useful if you need to JOIN data from a local table with data from Sybase. Refer to the following example:
