CData ODBC Driver for ADP は、DBArtisan などのデータベースツールとADP data を連携し、RDB のような感覚でADP データを扱えます。 本記事では、DBArtisan 上でADP データソースを作成する方法とクエリの実行方法を説明します。

DBArtisan Project にADP Data を連携する

ODBC Driver をインストールして、ODBC DSN 設定を行います。インストール後にDSN 設定画面が開くので、ADP への接続に必要なプロパティを設定します。

Connect to ADP by specifying the following properties:

  • SSLClientCert: Set this to the certificate provided during registration.
  • SSLClientCertPassword: Set this to the password of the certificate.
  • UseUAT: The connector makes requests to the production environment by default. If using a developer account, set UseUAT = true.
  • RowScanDepth: The maximum number of rows to scan for the custom fields columns available in the table. The default value will be set to 100. Setting a high value may decrease performance.

The connector uses OAuth to authenticate with ADP. OAuth requires the authenticating user to interact with ADP using the browser. For more information, refer to the OAuth section in the Help documentation.

次の方法で、プロジェクトにADP データソースを登録します。

  1. DBArtisan で「Data Source」->「Register Datasource」と進みます。
  2. 「Generic ODBC」を選択。
  3. データソース名を入力して、DSN を選択します。Enter a name for the data source and select the DSN. The DSN of the data source to be registered. (Salesforce is shown.)
  4. ウィザードを終了してADP への接続を完了します。ADP のエンティティが Datasource Explorer に表示されているはずです。 The Datasource Explorer. (Salesforce is shown.)

これで、他のデータベースと同じようにADP データを扱うことが可能になります。 サポートされるSQL クエリは、ドライバーのヘルプドキュメントを参照してください。
