Google Directory ODBC Driver
Google Directory ODBC Driver は、ODBC 接続をサポートするさまざまなアプリケーションからGoogle Directory のリアルタイムデータ連携を実現するパワフルなツールです。
データベースにアクセスするのと同じ感覚でGoogle Directory データにアクセスし、標準ODBC Driver インターフェースを通じてDomains、Groups、Users、Tokens、etc. にアクセス。
This article demonstrates how to use the CData ODBC Driver for Google Directory to connect to Google Directory data and execute queries in PowerBuilder.
The CData ODBC Driver for Google Directory can be used from any platform or development technology that supports ODBC, including Sybase PowerBuilder. This article shows how to connect to Google Directory data and execute queries from the Database Painter and controls such as the DataWindow.

Create a Profile for the ODBC Driver for Google Directory
Follow the steps below to use the Database Painter tool to create a database profile based on an ODBC DSN (data source name) for Google Directory. In the Database Painter, you can use wizards and the UI to work with Google Directory data.
- If you have not already done so, create an ODBC DSN for Google Directory. The DSN contains the connection properties required to connect to Google Directory data. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure DSNs. This is the last step of installing the driver.
Required connection properties are the following:
- OAuthClientId
- OAuthClientSecret
- CallbackURL
Google Directory はOAuth 認証標準を利用しています。各ユーザーやドメイン内のユーザーの代わりに、本製品がGoogle API にアクセスすることを許可できます。 接続すると、本製品はデフォルトブラウザでOAuth エンドポイントを開きます。ログインして、アプリケーションにアクセス許可を与えます。本製品がOAuth プロセスを完了します。

- In PowerBuilder, click Tools -> Database Painter.
- In the Objects window in the Database Painter, right-click the ODBC node and click New Profile.
- On the Connection tab, enter a name for the profile and select the Google Directory DSN in the Data Source menu.
- To view and modify a table, right-click a table and then click Edit Data -> Grid.
Using Google Directory Data with PowerBuilder Controls
You can use standard PowerBuilder objects to connect to ODBC data sources and execute queries. The following example shows how to retrieve Google Directory data into a DataWindow. You can add the following code to the open method:
