JDBC データソースとしてRapidMiner のJira Service Desk に接続

You can follow the procedure below to establish a JDBC connection to Jira Service Desk:

  1. Add a new database driver for Jira Service Desk:Click Connections -> Manage Database Drivers.
  2. In the resulting wizard, click the Add button and enter a name for the connection.
  3. Enter the prefix for the JDBC URL: jdbc:jiraservicedesk:
  4. Enter the path to the cdata.jdbc.jiraservicedesk.jar file, located in the lib subfolder of the installation directory.
  5. Enter the driver class: cdata.jdbc.jiraservicedesk.JiraServiceDeskDriver
  6. Create a new Jira Service Desk connection:Click Connections -> Manage Database Connections.
  7. Enter a name for your connection.
  8. For Database System, select the Jira Service Desk driver you configured previously.
  9. Enter your connection string in the Host box.

You can establish a connection to any Jira Service Desk Cloud account or Server instance.

    Connecting with a Cloud Account

To connect to a Cloud account, you'll first need to retrieve an APIToken. To generate one, log in to your Atlassian account and navigate to API tokens > Create API token. The generated token will be displayed.

Supply the following to connect to data:

    • User: Set this to the username of the authenticating user.
    • APIToken: Set this to the API token found previously.

    Connecting with a Service Account

To authenticate with a service account, you will need to supply the following connection properties:

    • User: Set this to the username of the authenticating user.
    • Password: Set this to the password of the authenticating user.
    • URL: Set this to the URL associated with your JIRA Service Desk endpoint. For example, https://yoursitename.atlassian.net.

Note: Password has been deprecated for connecting to a Cloud Account and is now used only to connect to a Server Instance.

    Accessing Custom Fields

By default, the connector only surfaces system fields. To access the custom fields for Issues, set IncludeCustomFields.

    ビルトイン接続文字列デザイナー

For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the Jira Service Desk JDBC Driver.Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.

    java -jar cdata.jdbc.jiraservicedesk.jar

Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.

A typical connection string is below:

    ApiKey=myApiKey;User=MyUser;InitiateOAuth=GETANDREFRESH
  10. Enter your username and password if necessary.

You can now use your Jira Service Desk connection with the various RapidMiner operators in your process. To retrieve Jira Service Desk data, drag the Retrieve operator from the Operators view. With the Retrieve operator selected, you can then define which table to retrieve in the Parameters view by clicking the folder icon next to the "repository entry."In the resulting Repository Browser, you can expand your connection node to select the desired example set.

Finally, wire the output to the Retrieve process to a result, and run the process to see the Jira Service Desk data.
