To begin, this tutorial will assume that you have already installed the CData ODBC Driver for Sage 200 as well as PyCharm.
Pyodbc をプロジェクトに追加
Follow the steps below to add the pyodbc module to your project.
- Click File -> Settings to open the project settings window.
- Click Project Interpreter from the Project: YourProjectName menu.
- To add pyodbc, click the + button and enter pyodbc.
- Click Install Package to install pyodbc.

Sage 200 への接続
You can now connect with an ODBC connection string or a DSN. See the Getting Started section in the CData driver documentation for a guide to creating a DSN on your OS.
- Schema: Determines which Sage 200 edition you are connecting to. Specify either StandardUK or ProfessionalUK.
- Subscription Key: Provides access to the APIs that are used to establish a connection. You will first need to log into the Sage 200 API website and subscribe to the API edition that matches your account. You can do so here: https://developer.columbus.sage.com/docs/services/api/uk. Afterwards, the subscription key may be found in your profile after logging into Sage 200.
Below is the syntax for a DSN:
[CData Sage200 Source]
Driver = CData ODBC Driver for Sage 200
Description = My Description
SubscriptionKey = 12345
Schema = StandardUK
Sage 200 へのクエリの実行
Instantiate a Cursor and use the execute method of the Cursor class to execute any SQL statement.
import pyodbc
cnxn = pyodbc.connect('DRIVER={CData ODBC Driver for Sage200};SubscriptionKey = 12345;Schema = StandardUK;')
cursor = cnxn.cursor()
cursor.execute("SELECT Id, Code FROM Banks WHERE Code = '12345'")
rows = cursor.fetchall()
for row in rows:
print(row.Id, row.Code)
After connecting to Sage 200 in PyCharm using the CData ODBC Driver, you will be able to build Python apps with access to Sage 200 data as if it were a standard database. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback regarding this tutorial, please contact us at support@cdata.com.
