Sage 50 UK Data をMySQL にレプリケーションするPowerShell スクリプト

PowerShell でシンプルなスクリプトを記述し、Sage 50 UK data をMySQL データベースにレプリケーション(複製)。

CData Cmdlets for Sage 50 UK をつかって、PowerShell からリアルタイムSage 50 UK data に連携できます。データ同期などのタスクの連携にぴったりの製品です。 本記事では、PowerShell からCData Cmdlets for Sage 50 UK およびCData Cmdlets for MySQL を使って、同期スクリプトを作成して実行します。

After obtaining the needed connection properties, accessing Sage 50 UK data in PowerShell and preparing for replication consists of four basic steps.

Note: Only Sage 50 UK 2012 and above are supported.

The User and Password properties, under the Connection section, must be set to valid Sage 50 UK user credentials. These values will be the same used to log in to the Sage 50 UK software.

Additionally, the URL property, under the Connection section, will need to be set to the address of the company dataset desired. To obtain the address, do the following:

  1. If you have not already done so, open the Sage 50 UK software.
  2. Click Tools -> Internet Options.
  3. Select the SData Settings tab.
  4. Click the Details button next to Sage 50 Accounts. A window is displayed containing a list of company names along with the address to their corresponding datasets.
  5. Set the URL property to the value in the address field next to the company desired.

Collecting Sage 50 UK Data

  1. Install the module:

    Install-Module Sage50UKCmdlets
  2. Connect to Sage 50 UK:

    $sage50uk = Connect-Sage50UK -URL $URL -User $User
  3. Retrieve the data from a specific resource:

    $data = Select-Sage50UK -Connection $sage50uk -Table "TradingAccounts"

    You can also use the Invoke-Sage50UK cmdlet to execute pure SQL-92 statements:

    $data = Invoke-Sage50UK -Connection $sage50uk -Query 'SELECT * FROM TradingAccounts WHERE TradingAccountUUID = @TradingAccountUUID' -Params @{'@TradingAccountUUID'='c2ef66a5-a545-413b-9312-79a53caadbc4'}
  4. Save a list of the column names from the returned data.

    $columns = ($data | Get-Member -MemberType NoteProperty | Select-Object -Property Name).Name

Inserting Sage 50 UK Data into the MySQL Database

With the data and column names collected, you are ready to replicate the data into a MySQL database.

  1. Install the module:

    Install-Module MySQLCmdlets
  2. Connect to MySQL, using the server address and port of the MySQL server, valid user credentials, and a specific database with the table in which the data will be replicated:

    $mysql = Connect-MySQL -User $User -Password $Password -Database $Database -Server $Server -Port $Port
  3. Loop through the Sage 50 UK data, store the values, and use the Add-MySQL cmdlet to insert the data into the MySQL database, one row at a time. In this example, the table will need to have the same name as the Sage 50 UK resource (TradingAccounts) and to exist in the database.

    $data | % { $row = $_ $values = @() $columns | % { $col = $_ $values += $row.$($col) } Add-MySQL -Connection $mysql -Table "TradingAccounts" -Columns $columns -Values $values }

You have now replicated your Sage 50 UK data to a MySQL database. This gives you freedom to work with Sage 50 UK data in the same way that you work with other MySQL tables, whether that is performing analytics, building reports, or other business functions.

Notes

  • Once you have connected to Sage 50 UK and MySQL in PowerShell, you can pipe command results to perform the replication in a single line:

    Select-Sage50UK -Connection $sage50uk -Table "TradingAccounts" | % { $row = $_ $values = @() $columns | % { $col = $_ $values += $row.$($col) } Add-MySQL -Connection $mysql -Table "TradingAccounts" -Columns $columns -Values $values }
  • If you wish to replicate the Sage 50 UK data to another database using another PowerShell module, you will want to exclude the Columns, Connection, and Table columns from the data returned by the Select-Sage50UK cmdlet since those columns are used to help pipe data from one CData cmdlet to another:

    $columns = ($data | Get-Member -MemberType NoteProperty | Select-Object -Property Name).Name | ? {$_ -NotIn @('Columns','Connection','Table')}
