Salesforce Marketing ODBC Driver
Salesforce Marketing Cloud ODBC Driver は、ODBC 接続をサポートするさまざまなアプリケーションからSalesforce Marketing Cloudデータへの接続を実現するパワフルなツールです。
標準のODBC ドライバーインターフェースを使用して、データベースのようにSalesforce Marketing Cloud データにアクセスし、Accounts、Emails、Lists、Subscribers などの読み、書き、更新を実行できます。
This article demonstrates how to use the CData ODBC Driver for Salesforce Marketing to connect to Salesforce Marketing data and execute queries in PowerBuilder.
The CData ODBC Driver for Salesforce Marketing can be used from any platform or development technology that supports ODBC, including Sybase PowerBuilder. This article shows how to connect to Salesforce Marketing data and execute queries from the Database Painter and controls such as the DataWindow.

Create a Profile for the ODBC Driver for Salesforce Marketing
Follow the steps below to use the Database Painter tool to create a database profile based on an ODBC DSN (data source name) for Salesforce Marketing. In the Database Painter, you can use wizards and the UI to work with Salesforce Marketing data.
- If you have not already done so, create an ODBC DSN for Salesforce Marketing. The DSN contains the connection properties required to connect to Salesforce Marketing data. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure DSNs. This is the last step of installing the driver.
Required connection properties are the following:
- User
- Password
Salesforce Marketing Cloud API への認証
User およびPassword をログインクレデンシャルに設定するか、sandbox アカウントに接続する場合はsandbox ユーザーのクレデンシャルに設定します。
Salesforce Marketing Cloud API への接続
デフォルトでは、本製品は本番環境に接続します。Salesforce Marketing Cloud sandbox アカウントを使用するには、UseSandbox をtrue に設定します。
デフォルトのインスタンスは、Web Services API s7 です。他のインスタンスを使用する場合は、Instance を設定できます。
See the help documentation for a guide to creating a Salesforce Marketing DSN. - In PowerBuilder, click Tools -> Database Painter.
- In the Objects window in the Database Painter, right-click the ODBC node and click New Profile.
- On the Connection tab, enter a name for the profile and select the Salesforce Marketing DSN in the Data Source menu.
- To view and modify a table, right-click a table and then click Edit Data -> Grid.
Using Salesforce Marketing Data with PowerBuilder Controls
You can use standard PowerBuilder objects to connect to ODBC data sources and execute queries. The following example shows how to retrieve Salesforce Marketing data into a DataWindow. You can add the following code to the open method:
