Feeling magical: recognition in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant
Our inclusion in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools reinforces our belief in the power of connecting people and data. Out of hundreds of competitors, we were listed among the top 20 organizations in this category. We are especially proud to be the only new vendor on the list. This recognition is a testament to the trust of our customers and the dedication of our team.
A blueprint for innovation: Foundations virtual conference
We hosted our first-ever Foundations virtual conference in November, bringing together some of the brightest minds in data and technology from around the world. Sessions centered on the importance of reliable data in a landscape increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence (AI). Featuring insights from leaders and data practitioners in industries ranging from healthcare and biotech to environmental activism and boutique fashion, Foundations sparked new ideas and inspired attendees to rethink what’s possible in data connectivity. Connecting any data to your favorite spreadsheet: CData Connect Spreadsheets
During Foundations, we introduced CData Connect Spreadsheets—a free tool that seamlessly integrates live data between any source directly into Excel and Google Sheets. Available on Microsoft AppSource and Google Workspace Marketplace, Connect Spreadsheets eliminates tedious copy-and-paste tasks, allowing users to refresh data in real time, customize reports, and streamline workflows—all within the spreadsheets they rely on every day.
Fueling the future: secured $350M in funding
In June, we announced $350M in capital from Warburg Pincus and Accel with continuing support from Updata Partners. This investment fuels our mission to accelerate innovation and expand and enhance our product offerings, better serving our customers and partners as they navigate a business landscape under continuous evolution.
A perfect match: Data Virtuality joins the CData family
We acquired Data Virtuality in April, expanding our capabilities to include enterprise-grade data virtualization. This move strengthens our portfolio and allows us to deliver greater value to organizations as they implement modern data architectures like data fabrics and meshes.
