This release introduces two new drivers, promotes five beta drivers to full production status, adds 26 new API profiles for rapid integration, and includes major infrastructure improvements including ARM64 Linux support, Visual Studio 2026 compatibility, and powerful core enhancements that benefit all 350+ data sources.

New data sources: SAP SuccessFactors Learning and Adobe Experience Manager

CData Drivers now offer integration with SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS), expanding our SAP ecosystem coverage to include learning and development data alongside workforce management.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning: Access training records, course catalogs, learning assignments, and completion data from SAP's leading LMS platform using standard SQL, enabling comprehensive reporting on employee development initiatives.

  • Adobe Experience Manager: Connect to Adobe's enterprise content management system for digital asset management, content authoring, and experience delivery workflows.

Beta to full: Five drivers reach production maturity

Infrastructure & Business Tools: Cloudflare, Supabase, FreshBooks, Keap, Contentful

Smarter, faster Salesforce data access

This release brings two powerful enhancements for Salesforce users that dramatically improve performance and data quality:

  • Instant record counts: Leverage Salesforce's native Record Count API to retrieve approximate object sizes in milliseconds instead of waiting for expensive COUNT queries. Perfect for ETL pre-flight checks, capacity planning, and data governance dashboards.

  • Dependent picklist visibility: A new PicklistValueDependency view exposes the parent-child relationships between controlling and dependent picklist fields, enabling data validation, accurate form building, and migration projects that preserve your business logic.

Together, these enhancements help you work with Salesforce data faster and with greater confidence in data quality.

More power under the hood: Platform-wide core improvements

We've invested in platform-wide improvements that benefit all 350+ data sources:

  • REGEXP_REPLACE function: Industry-standard regular expression text transformations come to your SQL queries. Clean phone numbers, extract IDs, standardize formats – all with familiar SQL syntax aligned with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

  • Explicit column grouping for Vertical Query Slicing: Smarter control over how large queries are partitioned, improving performance for complex data sources with related record structures.

  • CURDATE function support: Standard SQL date functions for enhanced query compatibility.

  • Base64 streaming: Efficient handling of large encoded files without loading entire payloads into memory, enabling better performance with binary data.

These core enhancements mean faster, leaner, more capable data pipelines – regardless of which source you're connecting to.

Complete ARM64 coverage: Now on Linux too

Building on our existing Windows ARM64 support, CData ODBC drivers now extend to Linux ARM64 – delivering complete ARM coverage across operating systems.

Deploy on AWS Graviton instances for up to 40% better price-performance. Run natively on Azure ARM-based VMs. Build on Apple Silicon development machines without emulation. As ARM adoption accelerates across cloud providers and enterprises seeking cost efficiency and sustainability, CData ensures your data connectivity is ready wherever ARM runs – Windows or Linux. Same drivers, same reliability – now on the architecture that's powering the future.

Day-one ready for Visual Studio 2026

CData delivers immediate compatibility with Visual Studio 2026, released November 2025. Our providers install seamlessly into VS 2026, and we've added full support for Entity Framework Core 10 – Microsoft's latest ORM release – so you can leverage new EF Core features with your CData connections right away.

SSIS Components are also updated for VS 2026 compatibility, ensuring your SQL Server Integration Services workflows continue without interruption. Whether you're building applications or orchestrating data pipelines, CData moves with Microsoft so you don't have to wait.
