AS2 EDI

AS2 and EDI are two technologies used together to transfer business documents and messages between the computer systems of separate companies. It is a universal document standard that's been around for many years and offers maximum interoperability between trading partners.

AS2 (applicability statement 2) is the transfer protocol for sending and receiving messages securely across the internet. It is a widely used transfer protocol that uses modern encryption, digital signatures, and receipts to ensure that messages are delivered safely.

EDI (electronic data interchange) defines the content of the messages sent and received so that both parties understand the messages.
