HIPAA-eligible services

When a covered entity or business associate has executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with CData, Connect AI is available for eligible HIPAA-regulated use cases and CData operates as a business associate.

Eligible Connect AI workflows may include:

Connecting approved healthcare data sources
Governed internal querying and analytics
Operational reporting and dashboards
Data integration workflows involving PHI
Internal data access workflows for authorized users

Use cases outside of those listed above — and the limitations described on the HIPAA overview page — are not eligible for PHI, and CData does not support HIPAA compliance for such use cases.
