HIPAA-eligible services

When a covered entity or business associate has executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with CData, Connect AI, Sync (On-Prem), and Arc (On-Prem) are available for eligible HIPAA-regulated use cases and CData operates as a business associate.

Eligible Connect AI workflows may include:

• Connecting approved healthcare data sources
• Governed internal querying and analytics
• Operational reporting and dashboards
• Data integration workflows involving PHI
• Internal data access workflows for authorized users

Use cases outside of those listed above — and the limitations described on the HIPAA overview page — are not eligible for PHI, and CData does not support HIPAA compliance for such use cases.
