Announcing CData Virtuality 4.10: BigQuery as Analytical Storage and Integration of External Key Vaults

We are excited to announce the release of CData Virtuality 4.10, featuring two major updates:

• BigQuery support as analytical storage
• Azure Key Vault support

BigQuery as analytical storage

BigQuery as analytical storage is now available in production. Building on the initial introduction as developer preview in version 4.9, BigQuery can now be utilized not only as a data source but also as analytical storage. This allows you to benefit from BigQuery’s serverless architecture, providing you scalability and reduces the operational overhead compared to traditional physical storage solutions.

Azure Key Vault support (developer preview)

Delivering on our promise from the 4.9 release, Azure Key Vault is now available in developer preview mode in CData Virtuality. This integration strengthens security and simplifies the management of encryption keys for your data operations. Currently in developer preview, our teams are actively working to unlock the full potential of these capabilities for the official release. Stay tuned for more updates!
