The CData Drivers 2026.1 release adds five new drivers, moves two beta drivers to full release, and rewrites four of our most-used drivers with new data models. It also brings 25 new API Profiles, create, update, and delete support for a growing set of existing profiles, and a round of source-specific improvements across the portfolio.
CData Drivers connect hundreds of data sources to the tools your teams already use, all through standard SQL. Here’s what’s new in 2026.1. For the complete list of changes, see the 2026.1 change log.
Five new drivers
The 2026.1 release adds drivers for contact center, engineering, ERP, and AI governance data.
Claude Compliance covers Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API, which provides audit and governance capabilities for AI model usage within an organization. The driver exposes usage logs, policy compliance records, and model interaction data as SQL tables, supporting governance workflows that need structured, auditable access to AI activity data. Read the Claude Compliance KB article.
Linear is the project management tool many modern software engineering teams rely on. The driver exposes issues, projects, teams, cycles, milestones, and workflow states as SQL tables, which makes it easier to connect Linear to data warehouses, BI tools, and engineering analytics platforms. Read the Linear KB article.
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is one of the most widely deployed ERP platforms in manufacturing, distribution, and construction. The driver connects directly to JD Edwards business objects, so inventory, purchase orders, financial records, and HR data are available through JDBC, ODBC, and ADO.NET without custom middleware. Read the JD Edwards KB article.
Talkdesk is a cloud contact center platform used by customer service and CX teams worldwide. The new driver surfaces agents, contacts, calls, interactions, queues, and configuration data as queryable SQL tables, so you can build analytics and reporting integrations without custom API work.
Sage X3 is a widely adopted ERP platform for mid-sized manufacturers and distributors. The driver gives you SQL access to financials, inventory, purchasing, and production data, so Sage X3 can take part in any analytics or integration workflow that supports standard data access protocols.
Anaplan and SAP BW move from beta to full release
Two drivers introduced earlier this year are now fully released. The Anaplan driver represents Anaplan data as a relational database, mapping workspaces, models, and export actions to a familiar catalog, schema, and table hierarchy. The SAP BW driver models InfoCube data as relational views that you can query with SQL-92 or MDX.
Driver rewrites for Jira, Stripe, Amazon S3, and Google Cloud Storage
Four drivers were rewritten in this release, and all four introduce new data models. No action is required. Your existing drivers continue to work unchanged. If you choose to upgrade, review the change log and updated documentation for the schema changes that affect your driver.
Jira has been fully rewritten on our modern architecture. More of each query is now handled by Jira itself: filters are translated to JQL, and LIMIT and pagination are pushed to the API, so queries return faster and transfer less data. The rewrite also adds bulk issue inserts and new views for Jira Cloud screens and project workflows. There should be no breaking changes when moving from the v25 to the v26 driver with a default connection, and you can stay on your current version until you’re ready.
Stripe now uses a data model where schemas are mapped to official Stripe API versions. Connections should stay more stable instead of breaking with every new API release, and new schemas will follow the Stripe release schedule.
Amazon S3 is now a multi-schema driver. Each bucket is exposed as its own schema, and a separate Information schema provides bucket-level metadata and cross-bucket views, so you can work with multiple buckets in a single connection. The rewrite also improves large-bucket metadata operations, expands stored procedure support for file management workflows, and improves regional endpoint handling with AWS Signature Version 4.
Google Cloud Storage has been rebuilt with a new architecture that improves query performance and metadata handling. It moves from a single static schema to a multi-schema model to support multiple storage buckets, expands stored procedure support for file operations, and brings the driver to feature parity with the refreshed Amazon S3 driver.
HubSpot legacy schema deprecation
HubSpot is moving from fixed API versions (V1, V3, and V4) to rolling, date-based versions, and has announced deprecation dates in 2027 for the legacy versions. The CData HubSpot driver now supports the date-based model, starting with the HubSpot202603 schema, and the legacy HubSpot schemas (V1 through V4) are marked as deprecated.
If your connections or queries use the legacy schemas, plan to update them to HubSpot202603 before the 2027 deprecations. We’ll send a dedicated notification with the full details and timing shortly. If you have questions or need help migrating, contact CData support.
