CData CLI: real enterprise schemas for AI coding assistants
CData CLI (cdatacli) is a single command that gives AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot access to real enterprise schemas and live metadata, so the code they generate actually works against your data model, not a plausible approximation of it.
You point the agent at a supported source and give it a goal. It discovers the schema, writes SQL, validates it against live metadata, and can generate a standalone application, all from the terminal, using the same CData JDBC Drivers you'll ship with. One SQL dialect across hundreds of sources. No custom API wiring, no manual schema mapping, no LLM in the runtime path.
The same setup supports multi-agent automation across Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Workday, and business process workflows where tools like Claude Code pull live data and follow your playbooks. Everything runs locally, with no cloud dependency and no per-call API costs.

New enterprise drivers: Anaplan, SAP Business Warehouse, and Suadeo
Anaplan
Anaplan is a cloud-based business planning and performance management platform that helps organizations connect data, people, and plans across the enterprise. CData Drivers for Anaplan represent Anaplan data as a relational database, making it queryable with standard SQL. The driver maps Anaplan concepts to a familiar database hierarchy: workspaces as catalogs, models as schemas, and export actions as tables. The information schema contains administrative and metadata entities; each model contains the data available within that model.
SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW)
SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) is a data warehousing and business intelligence solution from SAP that lets organizations collect, store, and analyze large volumes of data from various source systems. SAP BW includes an OLAP database (InfoCube) that exposes data as cubes, queried with multidimensional expressions (MDX). The CData driver models these cubes in relational views you can query with SQL-92 or MDX. When you connect, the driver retrieves metadata from SAP BW and displays available dimensions and measures as columns for the views, then updates schemas dynamically on subsequent connections. You can access SAP BW data from tools like Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
Suadeo
Suadeo is a unified data and AI platform that helps organizations centralize, govern, and analyze their data. With CData Drivers for Suadeo, client applications can access Suadeo as a traditional database and run SQL SELECT queries with support for aggregation and JOINs. The drivers support Suadeo's dynamic data model and custom views defined in your environment. Stored procedures let you execute operations such as creating schema definitions and managing OAuth authentication.
Sage Intacct REST schema support: modern API, dynamic schema
CData now supports the Sage Intacct REST API, Sage's modern, recommended interface for Intacct, with all new objects and features released exclusively through REST going forward. The driver features a dynamic schema that automatically reflects your Intacct environment, including custom objects and custom fields defined in your organization. Records include reliable system-assigned primary keys, enabling cleaner queries and more dependable data pipelines. The REST API also adds capabilities not available in the legacy XML API, such as write support for project resources.
Odoo External JSON-2 API support: future-proof your Odoo connectivity
CData now supports Odoo's External JSON-2 API, introduced in Odoo 19.0. Odoo has deprecated the legacy XML-RPC and JSON-RPC endpoints, with removal scheduled for Odoo 20 (targeted fall 2026). Migrating to the External JSON-2 API keeps your Odoo connectivity supported as the platform evolves.
