CData Sync's Q2 2025 release introduces several major enhancements to streamline data integration and improve security.

  • New SuiteAnalytics Source Connection for NetSuite - Dedicated connection that taps directly into NetSuite's reporting engine, providing faster access to saved searches, calculated fields, and joined datasets with less complexity than traditional API-based integration.

  • Change Data Capture (CDC) for SAP ERP - Near-real-time data replication capability that enables fast, incremental data movement with minimal system impact, keeping pipelines current without reprocessing full datasets.

  • Enhanced Security Controls - Added support for two-factor authentication (2FA) and SAML-based single sign-on (SSO), allowing better alignment with organizational identity and access management policies across providers like Okta, Azure AD, and Google Workspace.

New SuiteAnalytics Source Connection for NetSuite

With the Q2 2025 release, CData Sync now offers a dedicated SuiteAnalytics source connection for NetSuite, giving users a faster, more flexible way to extract reporting-ready data from their ERP system.

While Sync has long supported traditional NetSuite API-based integrations, the new SuiteAnalytics connection taps directly into NetSuite’s built-in reporting engine—unlocking access to NetSuite’s saved searches, calculated fields, and joined datasets with greater performance and less complexity.

Unlike the legacy API, which exposes only raw tables and requires manual joins to stitch together meaningful reporting views, the SuiteAnalytics connection lets teams replicate enriched, analysis-ready datasets defined directly within NetSuite. That means less transformation work, better alignment with finance teams, and faster time-to-insight.

With full support for incremental extraction and push-down filtering, the new connector brings efficiency to recurring pipelines, whether you’re syncing budget vs. actuals into Snowflake, tracking inventory metrics in Databricks, or powering dashboards in Power BI. It’s an ideal fit for customers who rely on NetSuite’s internal reports today but want to operationalize them in downstream systems for broader analytics and automation.

Sync continues to support its original NetSuite connection as well, giving users a choice between raw data extraction via the NetSuite API or curated reporting data via SuiteAnalytics. This dual-connection model is especially useful for teams that need both detailed transactional data for auditing and structured reporting data for analytics, without managing separate tools or pipelines.

New CDC functionality for SAP

Sync’s change data capture (CDC) capabilities now extend to SAP ERP. CDC support for SAP gives you the ability to replicate data in near-real time, as source data changes reflect in your destination as soon as they occur.

This enables fast, incremental data movement with minimal system impact, so your pipelines stay current without reprocessing full datasets or burdening operational systems.

Strengthened access controls with 2FA and SAML

Sync now supports two-factor authentication (2FA) and SAML-based single sign-on (SSO), enhancing security for teams managing pipelines across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. These new authentication options make it easier to align Sync with your organization’s identity and access management policies—whether you’re using Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or another SAML-compliant provider.

With these additions, Sync users get streamlined access through their existing SSO credentials, while security teams gain tighter oversight and compliance with internal standards.
