Private data via Connect Gateway
Not every data source lives in the cloud. When your agent needs to reach an on-premises database, an internal warehouse, or a SaaS instance restricted to a corporate network, Connect Gateway runs inside your perimeter and bridges Connect AI to that source over an outbound-only connection. The agent still sees a normal Connect AI connection. The gateway is transparent.
Typical use cases: SQL Server / Oracle / Postgres in a private VPC, on-premises SAP, Salesforce instances behind IP allowlists, or any source whose admin won't open inbound firewall rules.
Reference: Connect Gateway for installation, network requirements, and source compatibility.
