Our JDBC subscriptions offer comprehensive access to application, database, and Web API data through familiar and easy-to-use tools. Whether you connect from popular BI, Reporting or ETL Tools, you can use our cutting-edge driver technologies for easy, fast, and secure access to your data.
JDBC Subscriptions are licensed per desktop user, and do not include licensing for distribution. Developers may use the Drivers to build packaged software, develop reports, or access data through Desktop applications that support JDBC connectivity like DBVisualizer etc.
Desktop Subscription
The JDBC Desktop Subscriptions are licensed per user. This means that you can use the JDBC Drivers on your home machine,
your work machine, a laptop, or anywhere else. A license must be purchased for every person that uses any of the JDBC Drivers
included in the JDBC Desktop Subscription.
Server Licensing
A Server License is required if the product will be used on a server or with server apps (e.g. use with Web apps,
BI, Analytics, ETL, server tools). A Server is defined as any machine where more than one person can simultaneously
access the computer, either through direct or remote access. This definition includes, but is not limited to, Web
servers, application servers, and batch servers. A Server License is valid for one single server installation.
