Angular2 + API Server: Dynamic Database Apps

The API Server provides users with a quick and easy way to create REST APIs to access your database, whether your database is hosted on-premises or in the cloud. Since Angular2 can natively consume OData, you can easily build dynamic Web apps based on your databases using Angular2 with the API Server.

Our technical team has just released a new Knowledge Base article and sample project that demonstrates how developers can use Angular2 and the API Server to build dynamic web applications, with a complete database back-end, without having to write any server-side code. The API Server exposes tables through OData/JSON interfaces and the Angular App directly consumes those services.

The sample is configured to connect with a SQLite Database, however the API Server could be configured to connect to virtually any database.

The API Server is currently available for machines running Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix. Download the API Server and start building dynamic Web pages using live data from your on-premises and cloud-base databases, including SQLite, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL!

As always, our world-class support team is here to help. If you have any questions about the API Server, or the Angular2 sample, please let us know.
